Lakeside Estate wins 4th CIMG award
One of Ghana’s leading real estate company, Lakeside Estate, has been adjudged the “Real Estate Company of the Year 2023’ by the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMG), Ghana at its 35th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards ceremony held over the weekend at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
It is the third consecutive time Lakeside has won this award, but the fourth since first winning it in 2019 and subsequently won it in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The CIMG event, which is recognised as the premier standard for celebrating marketing and business excellence in the country, brought together industry leaders, marketing professionals and innovators to honour outstanding achievements and discuss the future of marketing in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
Citation
In a citation to Lakeside Estate, CIMG said Lakeside had set a vision to become the best customer-focused real estate company in Ghana that had expanded through the building of a unique variety of houses that were environmentally friendly, affordable and comforting, subject to the Ghanaian building code.
“Undoubtedly, you managed to achieve these feats by providing housing units that suit and met the aspirations of the Ghanaian home dweller, who continue to tout you for a good job done”, it explained.
“Moreover, your quest to create variety for your customers saw you providing a multipurpose sports complex which significantly increased your brand awareness and affinity as well as giving the community a defined lifestyle”.
“Your Water Park Project, which is the largest of its kind in any gated community, offers the largest variety of sports games for both adults and children who wish to indulge in physical activities. Significantly, 96.7 per cent of your customers patronised you due to these noteworthy edifices”, It continued.
Humble by award
Commenting on the award, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lakeside Estate, Dr Prince-Joseph Ayiku, said, his outfit was humbled by the award adding, “Our vision of being customer-focused has been realised and we will continue to work hard to satisfy our cherished and valuable customers”.

He continued that Lakeside Estate's marketing strategies were not only meant to promote its business but also tailored to help the firm understand its customers and deliver an exceptional value that exceeds their expectations and that of the industry standard.
He also pointed out that its strong digital presence and traditional marketing efforts helped Lakeside Estate connect with its customers easily.
Dr Ayiku praised his team of professionals for their dedication and hard work and dedicated the award to customers who had trusted the brand and continued to do business with Lakeside Estate.
Other winners
The Managing Director of the Labadi Beach Hotel, David Eduaful, emerged as the Marketing Man of the Year to mark his exceptional leadership and strategic vision of his over three-decade career.

At the same time, the Marketing Woman of the Year went to the Managing Director of Primetime Limited, Nana Akua Mensa-Bonsu, who had over the past 25 years demystified the fear of Mathematics and Science through the National Science and Maths Quiz.
Fifty-two other individuals and corporate organisations also won various awards. It was on the theme: “Harnessing the power of AI as a transformative tool for marketers”.
Present at this year’s ceremony for the recipient of the award were Dr Prince Joseph Ayiku, Mr & Mrs Kalmoni, Mr Isaac Ntiamoah, Mrs Gladys Adu-Brown, Mrs Rita T. Amoadu, Mr Raymond Owusu, Mr Dennis Anaman, Mr Daniel Deku and Mrs Pearl K. Elinam, who shared their sentiments and excitement for winning this year’s award again.
