New award scheme to honour outstanding leaders

A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), the Vita Legacy Brand, has launched an award scheme aimed at recognising individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to society.

To be known as the L3 Awards, the initiative seeks to highlight and preserve the legacies of exceptional leaders across various sectors of the country.

Explaining the rationale for the awards, the Chief Executive Officer of Vita Legacy, Apostle Florence Tigah, said preserving the stories of such leaders would inspire younger generations to pursue excellence and service.

The awards

Speaking at the launch of the awards at the Tema West Educational Conference Hall, Apostle Tigah said awards are part of efforts to document and acknowledge the work of individuals whose contributions often go unnoticed.

While assuring the organisation of the awards with due diligence and integrity, she also appealed for partnerships and sponsorships to sustain the awards programme and expand its reach across the country.

Skills development

Already, the Vita Legacy Brand runs an educational initiative, TPL College,  that provides free vocational training for young people.

The programme offers skills development opportunities to promote self-reliance among youth, particularly those without access to formal education.
