Odikro calls for unity to aid development
The new Odikro of Diaso in the Denkyira Traditional Area of the Central Region, Nana Adunya Brempong Ababio, has urged the people in the area to bury their differences and forge a united front to bring development to indigenes.
He said unity was key to bringing the needed infrastructural and other social amenities to the area and to make the place attractive to investors.
Nana Ababio, 45, a professional electrician known in private life as Enoch Kwame Ofori, made the call when he was enstooled Odikro of Diaso.
Also, the Chairman of the Upper Denkyira West and East Electricians Association, Nana Ababio succeeded his late grandfather, Nana Asumadu, who died about a decade ago.
He was enstooled together with Nana Akua Nkrumah II as Odikro Hemaa of Diaso.
Allegiance
He swore the Oath of allegiance to Nana Yitta Amoako II, Diasohene and Adontenhene of the Denkyira Traditional Council, who charged him to unite his people, to speed up the growth and development of the area.
The new Odikro appealed to the people in the area to rally solidly behind him, to bring the needed growth, development and transformation of Diaso and its environs.
