‘Owners of the Future’ organises coaching course for stakeholders

A two-day coaching course has been organised for stakeholders to build their capacity and devise strategies to shape their future.

The coaching weekend brought together executives, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders and technocrats for a rigorous and transformative strategic experience.

The programme on the theme “Owners of the Future: Engineering Advantage, Securing Leverage, Commanding Tomorrow,” focused on equipping participants with frameworks for strategic positioning, innovation and influence.

The event was organised by ‘Owners of the Future’, the brainchild of Abuja-based executive coach and equipper, Carisa Caleb.

Ms Caleb said, “Our goal is not to merely survive the future,” and that “We are gathering to build the ideas, institutions and infrastructure that will shape our collective future for decades to come.”

Focus

Under the first pillar of the initiative, Engineering Advantage, participants were encouraged to move beyond competing within existing systems to creating new categories of value and contribution.

The second pillar, Securing Leverage, centred on building and organising critical resources, such as partnerships, intellectual property, capital and reputation to create a disproportionate advantage.

The final pillar, Commanding Tomorrow, challenged participants to transition from merely participating in existing systems to shaping and controlling them by setting agendas and building sustainable structures.

Innovation

Ms Caleb highlighted the importance of innovation and narrative control in an era shaped by technological disruption and shifting institutional power.

Participants described the sessions as insightful and practical, noting that the programme provided clarity on future trends and the importance of intentional preparation.

The Accra event marks the first stop in what is expected to become a wider international movement aimed at equipping Africa’s next generation of leaders to navigate and influence global systems.

The next edition of the coaching weekend is scheduled to take place in Abuja, Nigeria, this month as the movement continues to expand across the continent.

Ms Caleb, author of “iDecree: A Declaration Blueprint for Power Shifts and Wealth Transfers,” works with founders, executives and ministry leaders across Africa and beyond, focusing on long-term strategy, leadership development and nation-building.
