Ultimate Charismatic Centre empowers 500 traders with GH¢450,000 business grants

The Ultimate Charismatic Centre has disbursed grants totalling approximately GH¢450,000 to about 500 traders and small-scale business operators in Accra, Kumasi, Koforidua, and Sunyani.

This effort is part of the church’s Business Capital Empowerment Programme, launched last year to bolster small businesses in its operational areas.

The General Overseer, Prophet Akwasi Agyeman Prempeh, disclosed this in an interview with the Daily Graphic after a church service at the Glory Temple in Accra on Sunday, January 25, to celebrate his birthday.

Prophet Prempeh, who also serves as the National Coordinator of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, stated that the grant scheme would be expanded this year to reach at least 1,000 individuals.

He explained that his ministry invests in the well-being of both church members and the broader community as part of its corporate social responsibility.

“Christianity combines both the spiritual and physical development of people,” he said.

Skills training and health care

In addition to financial support, the church has begun providing skills training to youth in Dome, Accra, in batik tie-dye, hairdressing, and IT/AI technologies to empower them to start their own businesses.

The ministry also opened the Ultimate Community Clinic at the Glory Temple last year to address local health needs, offering services free of charge.

Prophet Prempeh noted that some doctors affiliated with the church abroad will visit Ghana this year to provide specialised care to needy patients.

Furthermore, the church is collaborating with the Ga East Municipal Assembly to construct a bridge in the community.

Peace

During his sermon, Prophet Prempeh emphasised the role of religious leaders in advancing national peace and development.

“We should also let our voices be heard in the governance of the country,” he added, stating that such engagement is a sure way to advance national progress.
