Giant Steps donates to Weija Leprosarium

Giant Steps Capital, a finance and investment company, has donated assorted items worth GH¢3,000 to inmates of the Weija Leprosarium in Accra.

The items included bags of rice, sugar, cooking oil, cartons of tin tomatoes, electric bulbs, toiletries and boxes of bottled water.

Presenting the items, the Managing Director of the company, Mr Francis Bus-Moses, said it was committed to the welfare of the less privileged in society.

Mr George Quansah, caretaker of the leprosarium, said the items would help in the upkeep of the 27 cured lepers at the facility.

Madam Gladys Adobea, prefect of the leprosarium, thanked the company for the gesture and called on other groups and individuals to come to their aid.
