Graphic Communications Group Limited launches Balanced Scorecard Development

Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), the leading newspaper publisher in Ghana, has commenced the process of developing and implementing the Balanced Scorecard Strategic Management System to enhance the company’s efficiency.

“The balanced scorecard will change the way we understand and monitor the key factors necessary for our success.  It will give us a tool that allows every employee to see how we're progressing. 

Every employee will understand how his/her day-to-day work contributes to the company's success.  This will strengthen our resolve to deliver the best customer experience every time,” the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Kenneth Ashigbey, said during a seminar to begin educating the company’s employees on the new system.

Balanced Scorecard West Africa (BSWA), an affiliate of Balanced Scorecard Institute, USA, will facilitate and support the Balanced Scorecard development project at GCGL.

Mr Kayode Sufianu, CEO and lead consultant of BSWA, said his team would “apply proven methodology to facilitate building of the scorecard system and guide the company through the process of effective implementation and sustainment.”
