The 13-year-old sister also told the court that she saw Queenie inserting a dildo into her sister, Janet Amoakwaa’s  private part prior to using her fingers.

Testifying before the court, presided over by  Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, she further claimed that the accused instructed her to help her look for the dildo that was used for the act.

“Queenie told me to help her look for an object with a pointed edge. I eventually found it in her wardrobe and gave it to her,’’ she added.

Charge

Queenie has been charged with having unnatural carnal knowledge.

She has, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge and has been granted bail.

Revelations

Led in evidence by Chief Inspector Judith Asante, witness told the court that on the day of the incident, she was dancing with two of her friends in Queenie’s house when she sent her to go and call her elder sister, Janet Amoakwaa.

According to her, upon the arrival of her sister, the accused sent her on three occasions to go and purchase a bottle of beer, which Queenie offered to her sister.

“After taking the drink, my sister became drunk. The accused then carried her to her bedroom. It was at that moment that she told me to come and help her look for the pointed object.

“I was also instructed by Queenie to clean her bedroom on two occasions because my sister had vomited in the room. It was during those periods that I saw the accused inserting her fingers and the pointed object into my sister’s private part,’’ she added.

Responding to the testimony, counsel for the accused, Mr Andrews Kudzo Vortia, told the court that the testimony sounded more like a written script, “which was dictated to the witness’’.

During his cross-examination,  he said that Amoakwaa’s claim that the accused offered the victim three bottles of beer could not be true  because during the victim’s own testimony,“ she said that the accused offered her only one bottle.’’

The case has been adjourned to March 29, 2016 to allow the defence to continue its cross-examination of Amoakwaa.
