The furniture was purchased through contributions from the church's ‘’Healthy Mind Offering’, an offering set up to support various health organisations.

The Head Pastor of Trinity Temple of ICGC, Rev. Sylvanus Sowah Odotei, accompanied by other church leaders handed over the furniture to the management of KATH.

“As people of faith, we believe in the power of compassion, service, and love for one another. It is these values that guide us in all our actions. The decision to support the refurbishment of this unit was not just a financial contribution, but a spiritual one as well’’, Rev. Sowah Odotei said.

He said through the ‘’Healthy Mind Offering’’, the congregation came together, united by the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who would come to the Unit in search of healing and care.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, Chief Executive Officer of KATH, Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah said the contribution had come at a crucial time as the unit prepares to inaugurate its newly renovated ground floor for outpatient services to provide enhanced healthcare facilities to the community.
