Israel King of Jews marks Silver Jubilee celebration
It was all joy last Sunday when congregants of the Israel King of the Jews Church marked their silver jubilee celebration in Accra.
At the event, which ran into the night, members of the church adorned in the 25th-anniversary polo shirts marked the day with singing, praises and dancing to the glory of God.

Two 25th anniversary cakes were cut by the Leader and Founder of the church, Prophet Nakoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson.
The activities earmarked for the celebrations included fun games, a clean-up exercise as well as a health walk and screening.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Prophet Jamson, who is also the spiritual leader of the Spiritual Churches Council, Ghana, said God had been faithful.
He said over the past 25 years, there had been demonstrations of the work of God in the church which included the healing of the sick and childbirth for couples who were struggling to have children.
Prayers
For instance, he said women who were hitherto struggling to give birth but now had children as a result of prayers were between 800 to 1,000 over 25 years.

He recalled an incident during one of his Friday services when a family brought a sick relative on the verge of death to him.
At that critical moment, Prophet Nakoa Jamson said the family members of the sick person were weeping, thinking that their relative was dead or had no chance of survival.
On the occasion, he said he prayed to the Almighty God and asked for the breath of life for the sick person from Him and suddenly the person became conscious again.
“He had almost gone far but God brought him back to life,” he told the relatives.

Aside from that, Prophet Nakoa Jamson said by the power of God, people who had been bewitched, among others, had also been delivered at the church.
“What I only do is to use the Word of God,” he emphasised and that by the grace of God, no one had lost his life in his presence before.
The Almighty God, he said, had been good to the church and had delivered His people out of misery, adding that “It is not by my strength that all of these were done but the power of God”.

Plane
Touching on other issues, Nakoa Prophet Jamson underscored the need for three key personalities in the country to be provided with a plane, each.
They are one for the presidents of the country; the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu.
Providing them with planes each, he said, was to bring honour to what they were doing in their respective roles as leaders in the country.
