KABA of Asempa FM dies after short illness
Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA), the radio host of Accra based Asempa FM's political, news and current affairs talk show, Ekosii Sen, has died after a short illness at age 37.
He was said to have passed on early Saturday.
Graphic Online understands he was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

KABA recently tied the knot with Valentina Ofori Afriyie, another radio presenter at Class FM and formerly of Radio Gold.
KABA had been working as a broadcast journalist at Multimedia Group Limited (MGL) since 2009.
He was initially the regular host of Adom TV's morning show - Badwam - with Nana Yaa Brefo until Omanhene Kwabena Asante took over full time to enable him concentrate on radio.
KABA took over Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM full time after Kwabena Bobie Ansah left the scene.
Before joining Multimedia, KABA worked at Top Radio in Accra between 2004 and 2008 where he rose from the position of reporter to become host of the station's morning show 'Adekepa' and News Editor.
He is a product of the University of Cape Coast and University of Ghana.

Graphic Online gathers that he reported for work this week but complained he was unwell on Thursday.
Early Saturday morning, his condition reportedly deteriorated and was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra but was pronounced dead on arrival.
