Promoting safer airport operations
The Board Chairperson of the GACL, Mrs Oboshie Sai-Cofie, received the award on behalf of the company and said, “the award could not have come at a better time than this, as GACLcelebrates its 10th anniversary.”
She noted that in 2015, the GACL subjected KIA to an APEX review programme in pursuit of promoting safer airport operations, by combining the mandate for regulatory compliance with day-to-day operational needs to maximise operational efficiency.
This was done through cooperation with ACI, the ICAO, aviation industry stakeholders and benchmarking airports worldwide to ensure safety.
