Lexta Ghana lends support to Accra Regional Hospital in fight against Covid-19

Lexta Ghana Limited, producers and suppliers of Yaaz range of products has donated items worth Gh¢40,000 to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.

The items include liquid soaps, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, Veronica buckets and sanitary towels.

Presenting the items, Mr Martin Brobbey, the Chief Executive Officer of Lexta said, the donation formed part of the company's corporate social responsibility to help fight the coronavirus.

He said the fight against the pandemic was a national issue that calls for a national solution.

"We cannot live everything to the government alone, that is why we are also here to support with our products", he said.

According to him, the company had extended similar gestures to the Korle Bu Poly Clinic and the Kumasi Doctors Residence.

He assured that his company will continue to support frontline health workers in the fight against the novel coronavirus.

Dr Emmanuel Srofenyo, Medical Director of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital who received the items on behalf of management and staff of the hospital, thanked Lexta Ghana for the gesture and said, it was exactly what is needed for the fight against the virus.

He appealed to other benevolent organisations, corporate institutions and individuals to emulate the shining example of Lexta so as to win the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
