Mad rush for Anas’ number 12 expose’ ticket
Ghanaians from all walks of life are rushing to the Graphic Communications Group Limited for tickets to attend the premiere of ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ expose on Ghana football titled: #Number 12.
The premiere of the #Number12 is scheduled for Accra on June 6 and 7 at the Accra International Conference Centre and later in Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi.
Interest about the documentary heightened when President Nana Akufo-Addo filed a complaint at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service against the Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyanatakyi for allegedly using his name and that of the Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, to extort money from some purported investors after watching portions of the video.
Nyantakyi is currently the subject of a probe arising out of the #Number12 documentary.
Some excited persons who spoke to Graphic Online after picking up their tickets urged Ghanaians to throw their weight behind the ace investigative journalist’s quest to help name and shame corrupt people in the country.
They said it was high time corruption was eliminated in Ghana.
