Apostle Adjei was arrested yesterday for allegedly making unprintable allegations against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Mrs Mensa and other government officials.
Yesterday, a video showing the said pastor being picked up by a group of men introducing themselves to be men from the National Security, while he was granting a live interview to a radio station, emerged.
In the said video, the men, dressed in mufti, walked in, claiming to be from National Security, and announced that they had a warrant from the National
Security to arrest Prophet Agyei.
When the presenter tried to find out their identity, they told him they were from National Security, while one of them took out a gun and asked the presenter to back off.
It was seen that while Apostle Adjei tried to resist arrest, he was forcibly arrested and pushed into a 4x4 vehicle and driven away, while other such vehicles followed.
In the video, the Apostle could be heard saying that the EC Chairperson, Mrs Mensa, would be killed if she went ahead with her plans to compile a new voters register.

He was heard in the video making allegations against the President and other high-ranking members of the government, while insulting them at the same time.
Warrant
A warrant sighted by the Daily Graphic showed that Apostle Adjei’s arrest was ordered by an Accra Circuit Court, following an application by the National Security.
The warrant was issued by the court, presided over by Mr Emmanuel Essandoh, last Monday.
“It is hereby ordered that the suspect, Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei of Hezekiah Prayer Ministry, Mile 7, Achimota, be arrested. It is further ordered that electronic devices found on him be seized, retained and examined,” the court had ordered.
