MP assists dressmakers, hairdressers

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North, Abena Durowaa Mensah, has presented 50 sewing machines and 20 hair dryers to the Dressmakers and Hairdressers Associations in the Assin North District.

This is to ensure that members who have acquired training in dressmaking and hairdressing in the  district in the Central Region start their trade without inhibitions.

Gratitude

The Parish Priest of Assin Breku, Rev. Father Stephen Amoa Gyesi, expressed gratitude to the MP for helping the beneficiaries and urged them to take very good care of the items

This, he said, would encourage the MP as well as other benevolent people to do more for the people.

One of the beneficiaries, Ms Dorcas Ansah, on behalf of her colleagues, thanked the MP for her support and urged other prominent people from the area to emulate the gesture.

Ms Ansah expressed the hope that  prominent people from the municipality would also return home to help develop the area.
