This was confirmed by officials at the accident and emergency centre of the TTH.

While personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service told Graphic Online that they found one injured person who lost parts of his body and limbs at the scene and they took that person to the hospital, the hospital authorities said six persons were brought in made up of the deceased and five injured persons.

It took the timely intervention of personnel from the Northern Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to prevent what could have been another fire disaster at the Tamale Industrial Area on Wednesday.

The fire personnel who came got to the scene timeously were able to contain the fire and prevented it from spreading.
