In line with that, the Liberation Road from Accra towards Tetteh Quarshie Interchange would be partitioned into two with traffic from Accra using the outer lane and the dignitaries taking the inner, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A statement signed by Superintendent of Police, Mr Cephas Arthur said after 2 p.m. the arrangement would shift to the other lane from Opeibea House to AU Circle, with motorists plying the outer lane and dignitaries using the inner.

“Traffic Police will be deployed at vantage points to assist road users,” it said.

It gave an assurance that adequate security arrangement had been made to ensure a successful summit and urged members of the public to co-operate with the police for the success of the arrangement.

The statement said in case of emergency, the police could be reached on MTN and Vodafone Shortcode 18555 or 191 on all networks.
