As part of the exercise which was done on Easter Saturday, enthusiastic members of the association de-silted choked gutters and filled pot holes dotted along the Ajasco Road leading to Red Top and the West Hill Mall.

The exercise, which began at 6a.m. ended at noon. The association has decided to repeat the exercise regularly to keep the community clean and tidy.

The Chairman of the association, Mr Vincent Kobina Asmah, said they were motivated to embark on the exercise as part of their social responsibility, and as a way of injecting good habits among members of the association.

He, however, catalogued a number of challenges facing residents of the area and mentioned the lack of good roads, water and security problems among the key ones. He also indicated that the issue of land guards disturbing land owners developing their property was unbecoming and called on the state authorities to put in place measures to stop the illegal land guards operations in the country.

On the Ajasco Road leading to the West Hill Mall, Mr Asmah said though the Ga South Assembly had captured that for construction this year, the association was wondering when that project would commence.

He expressed the hope that the assembly would find the needed resources to undertake the road project.
