The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled maintenance works across several regions between Monday, September 15, and Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
The utility provider says the exercise is part of efforts to improve service delivery, though it will temporarily interrupt power supply in multiple communities.

In the Central Region, maintenance works on Monday, September 15, will affect Fiifi Pratt, Millennium Junction, Nyanyano township, Ojobi, Akraman, Breku township, Senya township, Bonsuoku, Ahentia, Small London, Bontroase, Fetteh township and nearby areas. Power will be interrupted from 9am to 4pm.
The Greater Accra Region will also be impacted on the same day. Communities such as Osu, La Beach Hotel area, Teshie Rasta Road, Teshie Family Hospital, Teshie Maami and their surroundings will experience outages between 9am and 5pm.
On Tuesday, September 16, maintenance will extend to other regions. In the Volta Region, supply will be disrupted from 9am to 1pm in Alaye Down, Nurses Training School, Veterinary Office, Soldiers Barracks, Daa Bra, Fiave, Food and Distribution, 66 Artillery Training Centre, Big Market, Anlokodzi, Kpenoe, Hodzo, Akoefe, Tanyigbe and surrounding communities.
In the Tema Region, areas including Juapong, Maame Water, Akwamufie, Mobole, Otsebreku, Okushibri, Apollonia, Jerusalem, Katamanso, Promised Land, Elegant Home, Data Centre and their environs will be affected from 9am to 4pm.
Parts of Greater Accra will also go off-grid on Tuesday, with Teshie NDC Office, Yomo Specs, Teshie Ultimate, Greda Estates, Shaibu, Gbegbeyise Beach Road, New Bortianor, Adanseman, Cassava Farm, Mr. Obeng Block Factory, Oshiyie and surrounding communities scheduled for outages between 9am and 5pm.
In the Eastern Region, Cambodia, Muoso, Kweku Adei, Kwabeng, Awenare, Bomaah, Abesim and nearby areas will be without power from 9am to 4pm.
The ECG has apologised for the inconvenience the exercise may cause, urging residents and businesses in the affected areas to take note and plan accordingly.
