Six perish on Konongo-Kumasi road
A gruesome accident on the Konongo-Kumasi road Tuesday morning has claimed six lives.

Five died on the spot and the other later at the hospital.
Seven others, who sustained various degrees of injury, are receiving treatment.
Four of the injured are at Konongo Government Hospital; one at Agogo Hospital and the remaining two at Komfo Anokye Government Hospital.
This was confirmed by the Konogo District Police Commander, DSP Edward Osei.
He said one of the accident vehicles, a Hyundai Grace ”is completely mangled.”
According to DSP Osei, the driver of the Hyundai Grace urvan bus with registration number, AS 5900-14, overtook a couple of cars but collided head on with an articulated truck.
Fortunately, the articulated truck driver, Ousman Bansi, 36 years is on admission at the hospital.
He gave the name of the urvan bus driver as Kwaku Darkwa, 26.
