Swedru: Collapsed church wall kills 3-year-old, injures others
A three-year-old boy reportedly died on Sunday at Agona Swedru in the Central region, whilst thirty others were injured following the collapse of the wall of a church building in which they were seeking shelter during a downpour.
The storm reportedly ripped off the roof of other buildings at Swedru including that of the district court.
The injured persons are receiving treatment at the Agona Swedru Government Hospital.

The Covenant Temple Ministry, was shielding the children from the rainstorm when its roof and wall collapse, reports Citifmonline.com.
The deceased, who was among the children seeking shelter on the podium, was reportedly crushed by the broken wall.
It took the intervention of some personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) to rescue those who were trapped
According to the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), about 600 residents may have been affected by rainstorm.
