In the Western Region, Graphic Online’s reporter, Dotsey Koblah Aklorbortu, reports that hundreds joined the nationwide demonstration by organized labour over the Energy Sector Levies Act 2015, as well as the hikes in electricity and water tariffs.
The demonstrators carrying placards marched through the streets of Takoradi and ended at the Regional Coordinating Council.
Dressed in red and black amidst drumming and dancing, the demonstrators marched peacefully with police escort.
