Memorable experience

Throwing more light on the event, Mr Franklin Sowa, Director of Marketing and Sales of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), said this year’s event would offer participants a memorable experience.

According to him, there had been a wrong impression about a lot of fathers due to the irresponsible behaviour some had exhibited over the years “but with platforms such as The Mirror/Graphic Business Special Father’s Day Buffet Lunch, the impressions are gradually changing.”

“What fathers are looking out for is to increase their love and live up to their God-given responsibilities,” he said.

Mr Sowa indicated that the speakers of the event had worth of experience in relationships, family matters and finance that would help patrons.

“As a responsible media organisation, we want to create platforms that will empower fathers financially to be able to cater for their family.

“Men do not typically open up. But with platforms such as this, an environment will be created to help them open up and share and exchange ideas. Through this programme, we will be celebrating fathers in a unique way,” he stated.

He called on Ghanaians to show interest and appreciate their fathers on all occasions since they are important figures in the society.

Mr Sowa wished all fathers a happy Father’s Day in advance and added that there would be giveaways for patrons of the event.
