Three die, 21 injured in accident near Tinga in Bole District
Three persons died on the spot last Monday when the vehicle on which they were travelling somersaulted into a bush at Maluwe, near Tinga in the Bole District in the Northern Region.
Twenty-one other passengers sustained injuries.
The Sprinter bus, with registration number AS 963-17, was heading to Kumasi from Wa when the accident occurred about 10:30 a.m.

The deceased persons are made up of two men and a woman, while the injured are 11 females, including a two-year-old girl, and 11 males, including a two-year-old boy.
A pregnant woman lost her pregnancy during the accident and was rushed to the Bole Government Hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the woman who lost her pregnancy and another passenger were transferred to the Wa Regional Hospital and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, respectively, yesterday due to the severity of their conditions.

The Bole District Crime Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mr Ebenezer Dakey, who confirmed the accident to the Daily Graphic, said 11 of the injured people were discharged from the Bole Hospital yesterday.
He said the three deceased persons, whose bodies had been deposited at the Bole Hospital morgue, were yet to be identified.
He said the passengers were on board the bus when one of the back tyres burst and the vehicle veered off the road, somersaulted and landed in the bush.

Mr Dakey said investigations into the accident were still ongoing.
