Unveiling the plaque at the handover ceremony, the Commanding Officer of the 37 Military Hospital, Colonel Dr Samuel Adjei, expressed gratitude for the assistance.

He, however, said he was looking forward to more of such assistance from corporate Ghana.

The Director of Communications of the Melcom Group of Companies, Mr Godwin Avenorgbo, said the company decided to embark on the project to help women who used the services of the hospital.

He said the exercise formed part of the company’s corporate social responsibility and noted that similar ones had been carried out at the KorleBu Teaching Hospital, also in Accra.
