Ashanti NPP chairmen pats party for election victory

The Association of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairmen in Ashanti region have congratulated President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the party's members of parliament-elect for their victory during the December 7 general election.

Again, the association also expressed its appreciation to the rank and file of the party for the victory achieved in the December elections.

The congratulatory message was carried in a communique signed by the Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen of NPP, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah at their end of year meeting held in Kumasi.

Calls calm
It appealled to the entire party structure and sympathisers to remain calm and resort to internal party structures in seeking redress on outstanding issues and grievances that might be confronting them as members of the party.

The Association charged all party faithful to refrain from resorting to the media as a forum for addressing party grievances instead of internal party structures.

Commendation
It acknowledged and commended the media for the crucial role it played during the just ended election and lauded them.

The Association also used the opportunity to wish all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New year.
