Awutu Senya East MP supports family of late NDC party executive
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Awutu Senya East constituency, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor has offered support to the wife and children of Amadu Tuariq, the late constituency secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The deceased served as a communications officer and later secretary among other portfolios for the National Democratic Congress in the Awutu Senya East constituency of the Central Region and died in 2024.
Tuariq left-behind a wife and five children.
The MP, in a move to recognise the hard work and sacrifices of the deceased party executive, paid a visit to the family.
She praised him for his loyalty to the party and said she was already supporting four children of the deceased with their education was also preparing to help his elder child, who was currently in the university.
Apart from donating some food items to the family, the MP gave GH¢5,000 as part of a Christmas package to the family.
The MP also visited other families of deceased members.
