Cadre Forum to herald June 4 anniversary

The anniversary planning committee of the June 4 uprising has announced that a cadre forum will be held today to herald activities marking the 34th anniversary.
Leader of the uprising, Flt Jerry John Rawlings will address cadres drawn from all the regions at his office from 2 p.m.
This year’s anniversary is being celebrated on the theme, “ Patriotism, Key to Nation Building”.
Tomorrow, there will be the traditional cadres route march and wreath laying ceremony. The route march will start from the El-wak Stadium through the Cantonments Communications Centre to the Revolution Square at the forecourt of the Flagstaff House.
A short parade and wreath-laying ceremony, as well as the lighting of the perpetual flame will then climax the commemoration at 8.30 a.m.
