The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has lost one of its former Ashanti Regional Chairpersons in the person of Mr S. K. Danso. He was 82-years-old and reportedly died in Kumasi on Tuesday.
Mr Danso once served as a senior aide to the late General Kutu Acheampong and a Vice Chairman of the then Kumasi City Council (KCC) now Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
He was also a staunch Methodist who served as an Evangelist and Lay Chairman of the Kumasi Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana.
He was the husband of the National President of Aglow, Mrs Dorothy Danso.
