Work hard

Addressing the delegates after the acclamation, the General Secretary of the party, Alhaji Frimpong, advised the executive to work hard in order to mobilise more votes to ensure the party’s victory at next year's general election.

He said the survival of the party depended largely on "you to propagate the good policies of the NDP to the Ghanaian electorate to support NDP’s victory in 2020.”

Referendum

Touching on the elections of Metropolitan Municipal and District Chief Executives ( MMDCEs ), Alhaji Frimpong called on all Ghanaians, especially supporters of the NDP, to vote "yes" at the referendum.

That, he said, would further deepen the democratic process in the country and also ensure full participation of the people in governance.

The election of the MMDCEs, Alhaji Frimpong explained, was the policy of the NDP which the party would automatically support to succeed.

Regarding the fight against corruption, Alhaji Frimpong disclosed that the party would establish a special court to deal with corruption cases.
