GMA and gov’t agree to consult on drones project
The government and the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) have agreed to enhance consultation in the implementation of the drones for medical supplies project.

Wednesday’s discussions at the first meeting according to the statement from the Deputy Information Minister was “fruitful and productive.”
“It was agreed that going forward, the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service will engage in a process of enhanced consultation with the GMA and other stakeholders in the process of implementation of the drones for medical supplies project,” the statement stated.
It said the meeting was attended by the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Manu, Minister of Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare, Director General of Ghana Health Service, Dr Frank Ankobea, President of GMA, Dr Frank Serebour, Vice President of GMA, Dr Justice Yankson, Secretary of GMA and Mr Daniel Baffuor from Zipline.
