Let election results reflect people’s will - Rev. Takyi urges stakeholders
The General Secretary of the Dispensation Gospel Mission, Ghana, a Pentecostal denomination, Reverend Charles Takyi, has urged stakeholders in the electoral process to play their part diligently to ensure that the results of the elections represent the will of the people.

He said this would ensure that the verdict is accepted by all parties. He expressed optimism that this year's general election would be peaceful.
He also advised voters not to loiter around polling stations after casting their ballots so as not to create any potential conflict, stressing, "Go home after voting and come back in the evening to witness the counting process," he said.
Ordination
Rev. Takyi was speaking at the ordination and induction of Pastors and Reverend Ministers of the Church at Sekondi last Sunday. They were elevated from Deacons and Pastors to their current positions.
The inductees were Rev. Andrew Alex Baidoo, Rev. Charles Okine Laryea, Rev. Samuel Baidoo, Rev. Samuel Amoah, Rev. Emmanuel Abakah Eshun, Rev. Bismark Amponsah and Rev. Samuel Gyamfi while the ordinands were Pastors Charles Kofi Takyi, Enoch Acheampong Affum and Richmond Quayson.
Admonition
Rev. Takyi admonished them to lead exemplary lifestyles and be humble to their congregation and not to lord it over them. He told them that as men of God, they should bring peace to where society placed them, adding that their teachings should be based on the bible and nothing else.
"May the Lord's blessing be upon you as you embark on this holy journey of faith and service. Wishing you a blessed ordination and induction day. May your Ministry bring comfort to the troubled, hope to the despairing and faith to the uncertain," he concluded.
Charge
The National President of the Church, Reverend Ebenezer Ansah, who performed the ceremony, charged the inductees and ordinands to preach the truth.
