South Tongu MP fulfils campaign promise

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for South Tongu in the Volta Region,  Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, has donated GH¢5,000 to the Dendo Sasekope Ward for delivering the highest percentage of votes for the NDC in the 2024 elections.

The gesture is in fulfilment of his campaign promise to reward the ward that demonstrated the strongest commitment to the party’s victory in the 2024 elections.

At the presentation ceremony, Mr Lukutor expressed his gratitude to the people of South Tongu for their loyalty and dedication to the party.

He emphasised that the gesture was not just a reward but also an encouragement for unity and collective effort in advancing the development agenda of the constituency.

“This is a token of appreciation for your hard work and loyalty to the NDC. Together, we will continue to push for the development of South Tongu, ensuring that every community benefits from the progress we seek," he stated.

The community leaders and residents of Dendo Sasekope warmly received the donation and applauded the MP for staying true to his promise and demonstrating his commitment to the welfare of the people.

They pledged their continued support for the NDC and urged Mr Lukutor to keep championing the needs of the constituency.
