Vice-President reaffirms Ghana's commitment to stronger ties with Brazil
The Vice-President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has underscored Ghana's commitment to fostering strong diplomatic relationships with Brazil and other nations.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang made the remarks when Brazil's Ambassador to Ghana, Mariana Madeira, paid a courtesy visit to her.
The visit was to congratulate Prof. Opoku-Agyemang on her election to the Office of the Vice-President.
It was also to strengthen the ties between Ghana and Brazil and also to explore opportunities for mutual benefit.
Cooperation
During their meeting, Vice-President Opoku-Agyemang and Ambassador Madeira agreed on the importance of consolidating their relations, driven by shared interests.
They emphasised the potential for enhanced cooperation which would yield benefits for both nations.
The Vice-President expressed her gratitude for the Ambassador's kind words and courtesies and assured her of an open-door policy for fruitful discussions and collaboration.
