Keta Chiefs commend Dr. Bawumia's tenure as Vice President
Traditional rulers and residents of Keta, Volta Region, have commended Vice President and NPP Presidential Candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his exceptional performance as Vice President and expressed confidence in his vision for Ghana’s future.
During a stakeholder engagement on Thursday with local leaders, including Chiefs, religious figures, and community representatives, Dr. Bawumia received high praise for his impactful initiatives and his bold policy agenda.

Togbui Acolatse V, the Dufia of Kedzi, speaking on behalf of the Chiefs, emphasized the positive impact of Bawumia’s leadership: "We know what you have done and continue to do. Each and every one of us, including the Chiefs, are beneficiaries of some of your innovative ideas."
As part of his ongoing nationwide campaign tour, Dr. Bawumia introduced his “bold solutions” policy framework, which he hopes to implement as President, with the Chiefs expressing confidence in these initiatives.
“We have been following keenly all your exploits and your message of bold solutions you have for the future of this country. We are excited, and for us Chiefs, our politics is all about development,” stated Togbui Acolatse V.
In addition to endorsing his policies, the Chiefs praised the Vice President’s character, noting his dedication to high moral values such as integrity, honesty, and hard work.
"It is our prayer, and the prayer of the gods that the Almighty continue to bless you and give you strength, for the few weeks we have ahead of us, so that we can have a very successful and peaceful election," Togbui Acolatse V said.
The Chiefs also recognized the developmental contributions of the current administration, highlighting the transformative impact of the Free Senior High School policy and other projects in the region.

"Your government has been development-oriented, and the footprints of its development are everywhere to see, even here in Keta and particularly Kedzi," they noted.
Concluding their remarks, the Chiefs expressed optimism for Dr. Bawumia’s future as a leader, affirming that his “moral authority” would propel him “exponentially” into formal authority.
