Let us keep working hard for a decisive victory in December - Bawumia urges NPP
Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on party members to remain united and focused to secure a resounding victory in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in December.
Addressing thousands of supporters in Nkawkaw on Saturday during his campaign tour of the constituency, Dr. Bawumia emphasised the importance of voting for both the Presidential and Parliamentary candidates. He stressed that securing a clear majority in Parliament was crucial to the party’s success.

"It is as important to vote for your parliamentary candidate as it is to vote for me," Dr. Bawumia said. "You have all seen what has been happening in Parliament with the close numbers—137:137—and that is worrying. We don’t want a repeat of that."
Acknowledging the hard work of parliamentary candidates and grassroots supporters, Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence that the NPP would win a decisive parliamentary majority if the elections were held today, based on what he has observed during his constituency visits.
"There is no doubt about it. If the elections were held today, the NPP would have a decisive majority—not just a majority, but a decisive majority in Parliament," he stated.
Dr. Bawumia pointed to his extensive campaign experience across the country. "I’ve been to over 200 constituencies, I’ve campaigned on the ground, I’ve seen the data, and I can tell you that if we hold the elections today, the NPP will secure a decisive majority in Parliament. There is no doubt."
However, the NPP flagbearer reminded supporters that the election was still some time away and urged them to stay focused until December 7.
"The election is not today; it’s on December 7. If we continue like this and stay united, by midnight on December 7, you will all hear that the NPP has secured a decisive majority in Parliament," Dr. Bawumia assured.
