Letter to the NPP delegates - A call for visionary, ethical, and innovative leadership
Dear Honorable Delegates of the New Patriotic Party,
I write to you with deep respect and a strong sense of duty as we prepare for the leadership election scheduled for Saturday, 31st January 2026.
This election marks a defining moment in the history of our great party. The decision you make will shape the future of the New Patriotic Party and influence the direction of our nation. It is therefore essential that we elect a leader of outstanding competence, integrity, vision, and emotional intelligence.
In today’s rapidly evolving world, our party must be led by someone who embraces innovation and provides digital solutions to analog thinking. We need a leader who understands modern governance, utilises technology effectively, and positions the NPP as a forward-looking, and progressive political force focused on enabling economic and industrial growth.
Our next leader must demonstrate:

As delegates, you carry a sacred trust. Your vote represents the aspirations of millions who believe in our values of democracy, development, and good governance. I therefore urge you to rise above personal interests and short-term considerations and vote resoundingly for the greater good.
May your decision reflect wisdom, patriotism, and loyalty to the ideals of the New Patriotic Party.
