Mahama starts re-election campaign tour in Central Region

Former President John Dramani Mahama has started his re-election campaign tour with a four-day visit to the Central Region.
The four-day tour started in Cape Coast Wednesday morning where he met National Democratic Congress (NDC) members to urge them to consider allowing him to lead the NDC again for Election 2020.
A total of 11 aspirants have so far declared their interest to lead the NDC.

Prof Joshua Alabi, Mr Ekwow Spio Garbrah and Mr Alban Bagbin are the ones leading the opposition arguing that Mr. Mahama does not deserve a second chance on the ticket of the NDC.
The NDC as part of the re-organisation for Election 2020 was waiting to elect new national officers before the presidential primary.
