‘NDC, NPP should accept Court ruling in good faith ‘

Prophet Ayisi made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency against the backdrop of the country's 56th Independence anniversary celebration on the theme: “Partnership and Innovation for Building a New and Better Ghana.’”

He said after 56 years of independence, it was high time Ghanaians avoided partisan politics and plan towards a common goal of building a peaceful and a prosperous nation.

Prophet Ayisi stated that Ghana, endowed with abundant human and natural resources, need not go through economic challenges several years after independence, adding “almost six decades after independence, Ghana should have been in a position to provide the basic needs of its people.”

He said for any progress and development to be achieved, it behoved all Ghanaians to rally behind and support any democratically elected President.

Prophet Ayisi expressed the hope that future presidential and parliamentary elections would continue to entrench the country’s reputation as a stable democracy.
