NDC urges Ghanaians to vote for change on December 7
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on Ghanaians to turn out in large numbers to vote for change on Saturday, December 7.
In a statement signed and issued by the party's General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey urged citizens to seize the opportunity to "reset Ghana and steer it back onto the path of progress, fairness, and shared prosperity" after eight years of "gross economic mismanagement, hardship, and untold suffering" under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government.

"This election is not just a choice between the NPP and NDC—it is a fight to reclaim the soul of our dear nation," Mr Kwetey emphasised.
"It is a call to rescue Ghana from the grip of insensitivity, unchecked corruption, and the massive state plunder orchestrated under Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia’s failed leadership," he added.
Mr Kwetey touted NDC's presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, as the "experienced, visionary, and honest leader the country urgently needs."
He also highlighted the credentials of Mahama's running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, as a "trailblazer in women’s empowerment and a champion for social justice."
The NDC General Secretary urged undecided voters to choose Mahama and Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, who "represent hope, integrity, and a brighter future for all Ghanaians."
Mr Kwetey appealed to the citizenry to vote for the NDC parliamentary candidates and to "let your vote be your voice for change, accountability, and a new direct."

"We plead with you come out in your numbers, speak to your loved ones and remind them of what is at stake," Mr Kwetey said.
"Look for the Umbrella on the ballot and vote for John Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates. Let your vote be your voice for change, accountability, and a new direction," he said.
"Together, we can end corruption, reverse the decadence of the past eight years, and rebuild Ghana for a brighter tomorrow.
Ghana’s future is in our hands. Let us make history on December 7," NDC General Secretary concluded.
