NPP 2024 manifesto hinges on technology, youth empowerment - Dr Frank Bannor

Dr. Frank Bannor, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), is confident that the new policies proposed in the 2024 manifesto by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party's presidential candidate, will significantly boost the country’s fortunes if he is elected in the December 7 general elections.

He emphasised that Dr. Bawumia’s plan to introduce a new tax system will generate positive outcomes that will ultimately benefit both citizens and businesses across the nation.

Dr. Bannor pointed out that one of the major challenges facing many African countries is the tendency to rely on outdated methods while expecting different results—a cycle that the NPP aims to break with its innovative approach.

He further noted that the 2024 NPP manifesto is centered on leveraging technology and equipping Ghanaian youth with practical skills in this domain to enhance their livelihoods.

While acknowledging that the manifesto’s implementation will require substantial funding, Dr. Bannor expressed confidence that the new tax system will effectively mobilise the necessary resources to bring the party’s vision to life.
