NPP would demand results from NDC — Boadu

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has pledged to continue to demand results from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on its  2012 campaign promises made to the Ghanaian electorate.

“Anything short of addressing the substantive issues would not deter the NPP leadership from exposing the propaganda and lies of the NDC,” the NPP declared.

Substantive issues

Addressing a press conference at the party’s headquarters in Accra  yesterday, Mr John Boadu, Acting General Secretary of the NPP, said it had been typical of NDC to denigrate NPP leadership ahead of every  elections in the country.

He said the NDC’s stock in trade was  to avoid the substantive issues and resort to insinuations, wild accusations and explicit insults,  all in the name of winning votes for the party.

The NPP was reacting to a press conference organised by the NDC and addressed by its General Secretary, Mr Asiedu Nketia, on Tuesday.
