Okaikoi South CPP candidate optimistic

“It is my pledge to actively liaise with the relevant agencies, governmental as well as non governmental to improve the conditions under which they operate. This will enable them to acquire additional capital or resources to enlarge their businesses,” she said.

Outlining some of her programmes to bring change to the people of Okaikoi, Ms Abaidoo said without peace and security in the constituency, there was no way for any development activities to be achieved.

“Peace and security are essential for meaningful development to take place. It is therefore essential that both intra and inter community decorum is always maintained. We have eight electoral areas and it is my pledge to undertake interventions that will bring about better understanding between the various communities,” she said.

Oh how to achieve that peace, Ms Abaidoo said she would support law and order, by supporting the law enforcement agencies, neighbourhood watch committees, resident associations and other civil society groupings to enhance the peaceful atmosphere in the constituency.

She said for growth to touch the ordinary people in the constituency, there was the need for a constant consultations with the middle class, including the chiefs, queen mothers and elders of the constituency to find a common ground for growth and development.

“I will strive to partner the sub-metro and the private business sector plan, finance and implement structural developments across the constituency. Community self action groups will be energised through me to fully participate in the development of the constituency,”  Ms Abaidoo said.

She, therefore, called on Ghanaians to rally behind the leadership of the CPP by voting massively for Dr Abu Sakara, the CPP’s Flag Bearer, and all the parliamentary candidates contesting in all the 10 regions of Ghana.
