The mobilisation effort saw the team embark on a door-to-door campaign to canvass for votes ahead of the December 7 polls.

The team urged eligible voters in the region to vote for the NDC flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama and various parliamentary aspirants on the ticket of the NDC.

The campaign tour through various constituencies, including Awutu Senya East and West and Effutu

George Opare Addo was accompanied by personalities such as the Chairman of the youth wing working committee, Okai Mintah, NDC parliamentary aspirant for Awutu Senya East, Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, and Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya West, Gizella Aku Shika Tetteh-Agbotui.

Policies

During the tour, Opare Addo highlighted NDC's key policies, including the 24-hour economy policy, the No Fees Stress policy, which promises free tuition fees for all level 100 university entrants, and the apprenticeship programme.

He said it was the hope of the party that those initiatives would resonate with the electorate to vote for the party.

Mr Opare Addo engaged with the crowd, listened to their concerns and addressed their questions.

"The NDC's message of hope and change touches the hearts of any Ghanaians who are eager for a new direction in governance. As the campaign trail continues, it is clear that the NDC is poised to make a significant impact in the Central Region and beyond," he said.

Mr Opare Addo stressed that under his leadership of the youth wing, he would not relent on mobilising the youth and energising the NDC's base.

He added that with a strong team behind him, John Mahama's presidential bid has gained momentum, and the NDC is poised to make a strong showing at the polls.
