This decision was taken on December 1, 2015 in the interest of the party.

The General Secretary of the party who is now contesting the national chairmanship position, Mr Bernard Anbataayela Mornah, said the NEC also resolved that all regional photo albums/delegates’ lists should be compiled by the respective regional secretariats and made available to the Elections Committee through the head office of the party on or before today.

That, according to Mr Mornah would allow the Elections Committee to favourably liaise with the Electoral Commission of Ghana to finalise its preparation for the congress.

“It is therefore the considered view of the NEC that all stakeholders of the Seventh National Delegates’ Congress of our party would work assiduously for us to have a memorable event in Wa,” he stated.

He therefore entreated members, sympathisers and the media to prepare for the congress as scheduled.
