Techiman South: Not all results were collated before alleged declaration, go and collate the remaining 147 stations - Court to EC
The Electoral Commission of Ghana is to collate the results of 147 outstanding polling stations in the Techiman Ablekuma North: Go and add 62 outstanding polling stations to 219 already collated - Court to EC
South Constituency and declare the results through its Returning Officer, the High Court in Accra has ordered.
Already, 135 out of 282 polling stations, have been collated in that constituency.
The court has also ordered the Inspector General of Police, to provide adequate and armed security men to help the EC conduct the exercise.
In a judgment Saturday, the court presided over by Justice Forson Baah Agyapong was of the view that not all the results of all polling stations were collated before the alleged declaration hence the order.
The EC is to conduct the collation before Monday, January 6, 2025,
