Vote for aspirants who can speak for electorate says Drah-Afram

An aspiring assembly member of the Nsukwaoso Electoral Area in the New Juaben Municipality,  Eastern Region, Mr Kwame Drah-Afram, has called on the people of the area to vote for someone who can articulate their concerns.

According to him, the time had come for someone who was dynamic and competent and could lobby for development projects for the electoral area.

Articulating his vision to the Daily Graphic in Koforidua, the aspiring assembly member, who is a teacher and assistant headmaster of Adonten Senior High School at Kukurantumi, said, " I am different from others because I was born and bred in the area. I believe it is my turn now as others have contributed their quota towards the development of the electoral area."

He said the issue of sanitation would be paramount when given the mandate since the health of the people was key to the development of the electoral area.

The aspiring assemblyman said the district level elections, as stipulated in the Constitution of the country, were non-partisan and, therefore, urged the electorate to not allow partisan consideration to cloud their sense of judgement.

"Let us vote for competence devoid of partisanship so that at the end of the day the right person would be voted for to represent us at the New Juaben Municipal Assembly," he added.

Mr Drah-Afram predicted a landslide victory over his opponents, "since my campaign has gone down well with my people who have promised to make me their assembly member”.

He said he hoped that come the election day he was going to be elected the new assembly member for the Nsukwaoso Electoral Area.
