4 Garrison Club inducts new patrons

The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Joseph Yammin, has given the assurance that all sporting disciplines in the country will be given the needed attention.

He noted that the ministry had identified that a lot of the youth in the country had potential, and had therefore lined up pragmatic and meaningful programmes to tap their talents  to enhance its sports development efforts.

Mr Yammin said this when he chaired an induction ceremony at which the 4 Garrison Officers Mess Tennis Club in Kumasi promoted two of their members to the position of patrons. The  event was on the club’s premises at the weekend.

The two are Messrs Kofi Affum Baffoe, the immediate past President of the club, and Nana Atakora, Krontihene of Amakom.

The newly inducted patrons were also awarded for their dedicated service to the club.
