Atsu, others thrill at Cheetah reunion
Black Stars trio of Christian Atsu, Mubarak Wakaso and Afriyie Acquah, were the toast of Kasoa fans last Tuesday as they made a surprise appearance to spice up the maiden edition of Cheetah Football Club’s reunion match which ended 1-1 at the Kasoa Park.

The match, specially organised as a homecoming between former and current players of Cheetah FC, attracted a huge crowd to the grassless pitch right in the centre of Kasoa.
Atsu, himself a former Cheetah player, was a delight to watch as he shot the foreign-based players ahead through the efforts of Afriyie Acquah and winger Muburak Wakaso, who featured as guest players in the ceremonial match.
The star-studded side included Spanish-based Real Vallecano star, Ishak Yartey, and Greece-based Platanias winger Aziz Tetteh.
The current Cheetah squad fought back to snatch the equaliser in the second half.
Abdul-Hayye Yartey, president of Cheetah FC, revealed after the match that the club also had other
